Steve Brunner offers over 25 years of tax and accounting experience and leads our business valuation and mergers and acquisitions practice. He serves as an advisor to his clients as both a tax professional and fractional CFO, having worked extensively in public accounting and as the CFO of a successful contractor in Northern Kentucky.
As a business valuation and litigation support expert, Steve has valued over 200 businesses, covering such areas as family law matters, business damages, buy-sell agreements, shareholder litigation, estate and gift tax matters, and buying and selling businesses. Steve has testified as an expert in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana courts. In addition, he offers advanced expertise as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), and a Certified Mergers & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA). Steve resides in Villa Hills, Kentucky with his wife, Amy, and has two adult daughters.

Elijah Liske (Eli) offers over 12 years of public accounting experience. He specializes in helping small-to-medium-size business owners with their tax and financial compliance, consulting, and planning needs. He’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of CPAs.
Eli is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati and resides with his wife and four children in Anderson, Ohio. He enjoys coaching youth sports, golfing, playing basketball and trying to stay in shape to one day wrestle his grandchildren.

Kyle Shadley-White began his career in public accounting in 2015, focusing on preparation of individual tax returns, trust tax returns and pass-through entity business tax returns. His background includes past certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, and he’s exceptionally experienced with a multitude of accounting software systems to assist business owners with their accounting needs.
Kyle earned his bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Joseph University and later earned a Master of Science from the University of Cincinnati’s accounting program. He’s a member of both The Ohio Society of CPAs and the AICPA. Kyle resides in Anderson Township with his wife, Sarah, and their two sons. He’s an active member of Guardian Angels parish where his sons attend elementary school. He spends his post-tax season on the baseball field either coaching or watching his sons play.

Kimberly Cheesman holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Thomas More College and leverages her 30-plus years as a CPA to provide accounting and tax services to our clients. Kim began her career in public accounting with VonLehman & Company Inc., where she worked her way up to manager. In 2019, after nearly three decades in public accounting, she took a position in the private sector as controller for a construction contractor.
Kim primarily focused on the construction, real estate and healthcare industries while at VonLehman, providing accounting services as well as preparing company and individual tax returns. In her controller position, she managed payroll and accounts payable, prepared financial statements, and completed company audits for general and worker’s compensation insurance.
Kimberly resides in Union, Kentucky, and has two children who have blessed her with five grandchildren. She enjoys babysitting her grandchildren, spending time with family, reading, traveling and being outdoors. She has also volunteered at her church and other nonprofit organizations through the years.

Bethel Leonard offers over 20 years of public accounting experience. She serves as an accounting and tax advisor to her clients, specializing in helping small businesses and their owners. Earning her CPA while working at a small firm in Milford, OH and over 10 years at VonLehman CPA, later Dean Dorton, Bethel brings several years of experience as a manager in outsourced accounting and tax.
Bethel resides in Clermont County OH with her husband, Chad. They have two grown children and have been blessed with four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and watching her grandchildren in their various sports and activities.
